Why is the lifestyle so hard to start?

As a new man to the swinging lifestyle I'm made to wonder why is it so hard for a guy to get his first introduction to the lifestyle that has amazed him for years? I mean even if I found a partner to join me in my swinging adventure or even a couple who will allow me to have my first experience.
