Hello coummity,
Why has this lifestyle made a 360 degree turn?

I ask myself that question all the time. I entered this lifestyle some 30 years ago not understand what I was but knowing I was different and had a kinky side to sex.

Over time I come to understand it's more then sex it's about control, trust, protection, comfort, understanding and patience.

Which has been lose over the years. I believe the internet has has been a  distraction to the true meaning of BDSM lifestyle.

Please give your thoughts.

I believe two of the biggest are married people who married someone who sexual really have never  had sexual pleasure and young people thinking it's a easy way to sex.

Then you have these would watched a movie, seen a news story or read a book. And come into this lifestyle with all the answers (well they believe so) wrong.
