Written by Joe Eszterhas and directed by Paul Verhoeven, who is a man that loves a bit of raunchy sex - in fact, the main pieces of this movie were nothing but pure sleazy sex. The story follows young erotic dancer, Nomi (played by Elizabeth Berkley), who comes to Las Vegas with nothing and works her way up the ranks, from dancing in strip clubs to becoming the top showgirl. With hot scenes of Nomi grinding her butt on a male client until he reaches orgasm during a lap dance and a very wet sex scene in a swimming pool there is enough sex to make her adventure purely pornographic.
9 1/2 Weeks (1986)
This erotic romance movie put sexy food scenes on the map with its unforgettable mouth watering scene. Wall Street man, John (played by Mickey Rourke), seduces innocent art dealer, Elizabeth (Kim Basinger), dominating her into a foody submissive state with everything he can find in the refrigerator, from sugar-sweet maraschino cherries to tongue-scorching jalapeños, ending their sexy food game with a raunchy romp on the kitchen floor. Their experimental relationship turns very sadistic but with sex scenes involving blindfolds, female masturbation, sex in public place, cross-dressing, horsewhips and the provision of a prostitute for lesbian sex, it is a highly arousing watch.
Nymphomaniac (2013)
This two-part film was written and directed by Lars von Trier and starred big names like Shia LaBeouf, Uma Thurman, and Christian Slater. The film centers around Joe (played by Charlotte Gainsbourg), a self-proclaimed nymphomaniac, who recounts her life story and sexcapades to a mature stranger (played by Stellan Skarsgård), who discovers her in an alley behind his apartment. It's pretty clear why this one comes in the top 5 of “It’s basically porn” films - with unbelievably *ahem* lengthy and kinky scenes of genuine unsimulated sex...ooh err.
