scabbers	6:23 pm Monday, 30^th May, 2005 Is it just me or are there plenty of bi girls but hardly any bi men? If so what do you think the reason is?

Lots of guys have the potential to be bi, i'm sure, but seem to be too hung up on the virility thing to give it a try. It's like they think, one bloke touches their dick, and they will flip right over and become completely gay. This particularly applies to teenage boys, who seem to be very agressive about their sexuality, and then later, they get set in their ways. Girls seem to to be a bit more relaxed, and treat the odd snog with their friends as a joke. Conversely, it's amazing how many ladies who say they are bi don't walk the walk when it comes to the crunch (or rather, the munch!), and also, how 'full' lesbians seem to disaprove of bi-ladies. I don't know why that is, and whether gay guys are the same about bi guys.

I guess it all comes down to how comfortable you feel with your sexuality and that feeling horny about the same sex does not mean you are gay!

We are surprised at the number of older guys who are, or say they are bi curious and even mention it when writing to us. Me, Jose tried all that when I was younger and seriously believed for years that most young guys did the same, now I am not so sure that I was right. I made the choice eventually to be completely hetero, but do have some fond memories of one or two fun encounters. If we are to believe that homosexuality is as natural as it is said to be and is quite common in the animal kingdom, we have to accept that is not as unnatural as many people think. Why is it sometimes called Greek? I`m sure they didnt invent it. A lot has to do with our upbringing and the type of people we mix with as we grow up. It is a surprise for us how many women are bisex and it seems to be a trendy thing. Maybe we guys aren`t doing a good enough job? Gloria has never had any bi experience and is absolutely certain that she does not want to try it now! I do not have a problem with that at all, as I have had 3 goes at being in bed with 2 women, all of which were completely forgettable experiences and would never wish to try it again. Then there's the effeminacy thing. A lot of guys think that they are suddenly going to become camp with a lisp or a desire to wear a dress. There's nothing wrong with that - it's just that being with another guy won't change the person that you are or the things you enjoy doing. Maybe it's just a case of being straightforward about expectations and limits - the same as a straight couple would do. People tend to be more experimental when limitsboundaries are set and wishes are going to be respected.

Now, I know I like my out hole to be just that - an out hole. I think thats where the big fear comes from. The other aspect is girls are generally a lot more intimate with each other than guys. Seeing girls hug and kiss (as in a peck, not a full on snog) is a lot more common than seeing two guys hug and kiss. That makes the prospect of seeing two guys snog, or go further, seem more...unnatural to most people than seeing girls do it. Which is strange, because most gay guys I know are great while the majority of lesbians I know are evil hate filled battle creatures sent to destroy civalisation from the inside out.
