Hi Trinity, I have just had my first no show tonight. To solve this problem people just need to communicate better, this would work wonders and if the reason is adequate you wouldnt mind re-arranging. I agree with comments earlier to chalk it down to experience, and not one I hope to repeat. As its hard enough to make time for these meets and then people dont turn up, you have lost valuable time for pleasure. I am not a hardened swinger but do expect equal respect. I wish you luck on your next photo shoot though.xx

The same thing happened to me in Leeds this Monday night see my topic. I was interested in that you were having a moan and a lot of your replies were just about giving you a spit roast, not really reading the issue that you have raised, many not having pics. I can see why many people get pissed off.

That is just plain rude bad manners.

we have had a couple of no shows, however it hasnt been such a total let down because we tend to arrange to meet in a club so there are always options then.....

I like the suggestion of feed back I was going to suggest naming and shaming which is the same sort of thing but a name and shame forum would let you say what had happened
like arranged hotel meet and notturn up

or the detailed address, door description, car on the drive etc
and if you seem to be getting same signals then you know your more than likely onto a hiding to nowhere

what do the rest of you think and the moderators??????

This is a never ending problem with people who don´t know what they want.

last week JoJo arranged to meet three guys, none showed up, they stopped answering their telephone, stopped responding to text message and emails, and stopped coming into the chat room.

I have never in over 30 years of swinging understood why guys (and some couples) will make the arrangements and then drop out. They obviously have no balls, or they would at least pick up the phone and say "sorry, I just cannot do it"

So come on guys, if you are servious, act serious, if you just want to flirt, tell the girls. But if you make an arrangement to meet, turn up, or you will be talked about, and eventually no one will contact you any more.

Dirty david theres no point talking about time wasters & people not showing up where you have a system where there are lots of time wasters on your site & all the other adult hub sites when people could give feed back on people they have met or use the system I put on the forums before where people that don't reply to email get a negative mark put against there name for each email they don't reply to.

it's the same old tale, except the first one is very disappointing. all set, including house number, parking directions strict timing etc, and then 'no show'. sometime later the so-called husband turns up and apologises on behalf of the lady as she's been 'called away' on 'emergency duties'. understandable at that point of time, not understandable later why there was not a text message too with a simple 'sorry'.checked up the sent mail and found the mail sent after the encounter has been opened, thus read. consider this to be plain, gross bad manners. i fully support the idea of the feed back system so that all members are aware of the trust worthiness of the individualcouple in question and can expect a failure to show up after fixing a meet if the rating so suggests.

Abso-bloody-luetly David ... the problem as I see it is, in part, the 'instant' nature of the internet, in part the need of some people for 'ego support' and in part the male post ejaculation effect !!!

The hypothisis runs thus ... you have a guy(s) feeling horny sat at a computer ... they look at a bit of porn but that's not really satisfying as most porn depicts images that are unattainable to them at that time. So they look for something that has a greater congruence with their personal situation. At this point they may turn to chatrooms and contact sites ... here they can look at pictures, communicate with the people whos images they see and feel that additional 'personal' connection ... a sense of 'attainability' that is missing from the more sterile pornographic images.

They have now begun to construct a type of 'three dimentional' masturbatory fantasy with both image and a level of interaction. Essentially the process is one of fantasy and the fantasist (male or female) will seek to prolong it as far as possible in order to extract the maximum pleasure from the scenario. It is a completely selfish operation on their part in that they have no real empathic concern for the other parties involved ... all that matters is the effects that they are experiencing.

During the period of pre meeting contact it is not unusual for the fantasists masturbatory frequency to increase by up to and in some cases beyond a factor of ten.

Some have no intention of going through with the final stage of the process whatsoever ... they have already had their 'reward' during the pre-meeting interchange and their personal circumstances simply do not allow them to make good on their stated intention to meet. We, the genuine 'meeters' are simply relegated to the role of characters in a sexual computer game ... one that they can play with no risk to themseves or their domestic situation and turn off when they wish.

Some are full of good intentions ... they are able to get away and have every intention to do so ... right up to the point where they are so excited at the prospect of the meet that they succumb to the urge to masturbate just before setting off thinking that they are so aroused that it won't matter ... WRONG !!! The post ejaculation effect kicks in and once the urgency has gone they simply lose the will to make the trip ... they may regret that once the post ejaculation effect wears off but by then it is too late.

A few simply lose their bottle at the last moment ... performance pressure accounts for quite a significant number in that area.
