Too many filters?

We have tried to reply to mails sent to us from single guys and couples who have their filter set to only receive from premium members. We also find many who we can't write to. They probably don't read this forum anyway, so will continue to be unable to hear from us non premium members. We understand the idea of a filter, but do wonder why non premium members are allowed to set it up anyway. There are many genuine non premium members and there's always the, "Thanks but no thanks" button to hit if timewasters reply. Anyone who is pestered needs only to report the person to admin and they will act.
