I recently began a 2nd career as a psychotherapist. I currently manage a group of mobile mental health crisis response teams, but previously did trauma treatment and sex therapy for a special population. My 1st career was in the aviation industry, a succession of high-profile, highly responsible jobs. I always knew I could do many other things, and finally wanted to.
I'm highly analytical thanks to many years of very concrete work. But I've always been able to appreciate people and the world in other ways. My new career forces me to listen to my intuition more than I ever have.
