It's about knowing who you are and what it is you want out of your position. I'm not a switch and have no tolerance for topping from the bottom.
To get things rolling, it is not important to me if you are established and comfortable in your chosen role, or if you need an education (training) in behavior. Implicit direction and guidance are always provided. All you really need is an enthusiasm to follow instructions and a sense that life is an adventure when you have an experienced leader holding your collar.
I am not going to ask what you like, or how you like it, or what you want for me to do to you. It's not that I don't care. Every respectable Dom cares for his sub. It's that your role is not to inform me. I remove your responsibility of making decisions. Once we establish limits, which is a requirement for your 'participation', I think and you act. I teach and you learn. I speak ... and you respond.
